Delivery & Returns
Nest provides delivery in New Zealand. We have detailed some information below on our delivery and returns. Any questions please email us on hello@nest-direct.com
Delivery
Order Processing
We aim to process and dispatch all in-stock items within two working days of receiving your order. Our office operates Tuesday to Friday, from 10.00 AM to 4:00 PM. Orders placed over the weekend will be handled promptly on Tuesday.
For made-to-order, custom, or pre-order items, we’ll send an email within one business day to confirm the estimated delivery timeframe. If you haven’t received this confirmation, please contact us at hello@nest-direct.com for assistance.
New Zealand Orders
For small items (excluding furniture) delivery within New Zealand typically takes:
- 1–2 working days for Auckland addresses.
- 2–3 working days for other regions but if your address is rural it may take longer.
Please note that delivery times may vary due to courier delays or in peak periods.
For large or heavy orders (ie furniture or volume orders), additional shipping fees may apply. If you’re unsure, contact us at hello@nest-direct.com for a shipping quote. Otherwise, we’ll notify you of any extra charges during order processing.
Important Delivery Information:
- All packages require a signature upon delivery to ensure secure handling.
- Provide a physical address where someone will be available to sign for the delivery during weekdays (9 AM–5 PM). PO Box addresses cannot be used.
- If shipping to a business address please ensure this is included in the 'Shipping Address' and the business name is included in 'Company' fields.
- Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number to monitor its journey.
- Upon delivery, please inspect your items. If you notice any damage, notify us at hello@nest-direct.com within five working days.
Click & Collect
Click & Collect orders are typically ready within 1–3 working days. If additional time is needed, we’ll notify you by email. Please pick up your order within seven days of receiving the “ready for collection” notification.
International Orders
Some products may not be eligible for international shipping. If you’d like to place an order for delivery outside New Zealand, email us at hello@nest-direct.com with your location details, and we’ll provide a shipping quote.
Preorder
By preordering products off our website you are agreeing to purchase a product that is not yet in stock. We will endeavour to ship your product as quickly as possible when it arrives to our stockroom.
The shipment date we give in the preorder product descriptions are a guide and are not final, these are supplied to us by our suppliers. In the rare situation where unforeseen circumstances effect the shipment date from our suppliers we will update you with a new shipment date from our stockroom as soon as we can.
Returns/Exchanges
Nest operates under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
If you would like to exchange a Nest purchase please email us as soon as possible. Shipping and handling costs are not refunded unless the original item is faulty. Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty.
If a return contains a faulty item and is deemed not faulty by Nest the cost of shipping will be deducted from any refunded value. All refunds will be processed in New Zealand dollars (NZD), exchange rate differences at the time of processing the refund is beyond the control of Nest.
Once we receive your item at Nest, we will process your refund via your original payment method. Once your item has been processed you will be notified via the email on your account. Please note some banks may require longer time frames for processing refund payments.
